Association of Faculty and Friends at Milton S. Hershey Medical Center

Community Outreach

The Association of Faculty and Friends (AFF) of the Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center and Penn State College of Medicine is composed of members from our local community. We are committed to serving others and participate in events that support our community through out the year. While these are scheduled events each year, check our newsletter and website for other opportunities that arise. Please contact us if you would like to be involved in helping with these events.

Frequently, food collections containers can be found across the campus for our Lion Share initiative. This food is then donated to the two local food banks. Departments within the hospital have also supported this initiative by collecting food and donations at holiday or department gatherings. Tea for Toys is a collaboration with the United States Marine Corp. in which gifts are donated to needy families, and the Blood drive works with the Central PA Blood Bank to help increase blood donations.
